Who we are
Ukelønn is operated by CreatorsJourney AS, Norway. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the app and this website.
Data we collect
- Name and email address (user registration)
- Family information (children, parents, relationships)
- Chore data (chores created and completed)
- Amounts earned and paid out (virtual values only — no real-world money transfers)
- Device information (model, OS version, push token)
- Anonymised usage analytics (screen views, interactions)
Why we collect it
We only collect data that is necessary to provide the service:
- Authentication and account management
- Syncing family data across devices
- Push notifications for chores and reminders
- Customer support and troubleshooting
- Product improvement (aggregated and anonymised)
Who we share data with
We do not share data with third-party advertisers. Ever.
Data is processed only by the following data processors, and only to deliver the service:
- Microsoft Azure — hosting the service (EU)
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — iOS push notifications
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Android push notifications
- Email provider — transactional emails and newsletters
- Sentry — error reporting (anonymised)
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Delete data (right to be forgotten)
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet)

Children and privacy
Ukelønn is designed for families with children. Children under 13 may only use the app after a parent or guardian has created the family and given consent. We collect minimal data about children — only name and chore history. Children cannot communicate outside their family, and they never see advertising.
Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies — only what is technically necessary for the pages to work. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
